Wings Over Texas

The skies over San Anontio were definately filled with thunder, as their website promised, when the Randolph Air Force Base hosted their open house and air show.  Over 150,000 Texans filled the base for an amazing event!  We at John Klatt Airshows were proud to be invited to attend this sensational event. This show was the last stop of our 2011 season, ending another successful year.

30th Anniversary Amigo Airsho

The 2011 Amigo Airsho celebrated the 30th Anniversary of this HUGE community aviation event!  Starting in 1980 this non-for-profit event has soared thanks to the dedication of its volunteers!  We at John Klatt Airshows couldn't agree more and were eager to return for a third year!  The Air Guard Aerobatic Team & Max Adrenaline want to thank all of the volunteers, Board of Directors and the El Paso Community for welcoming us to this event and taking such great care of us again this year!

The Air Guard Staudacher 300D flown by Lt Col John Klatt is inverted and in formation with fellow Air Guard Aerobatic Team member Bill Kerns in the Air Guard Extra 300L. Our friend Rob Holland in the Veteran Home Loans MX2 is inverted in this formation as well.

The attendance figures exceeded expectations for the 2011 Amigo Airsho.  There were wall-to-wall people as far as the eye could see! In fact over 100,000 people attended this year's event!

Legacy of Liberty Air Show

The 2011 Holloman Air Force Base Open House & Air Show was named the "Legacy of Liberty" Air Show to add to the patriotic theme and honor servicemembers of the past while inspiring those of the future. The Air National Guard Aerobatic Team & John Klatt Air Shows were proud to be a part of such a special event.

Air Show Fort Smith

Air Show Fort Smith set record numbers for fans attending the show!  255,000 Air Show enthusiasts attended this event over the weekend and that does not even cournt the numerous fans that watched from their homes and businesses surrounding the airport.  Thank you to the City of Fort Smith and the 188th Fighter Wing for making this a truly memorable event!
